Are we being robbed by quick house sale company?

Hi, Can any one tell us if Valuation Surveyors all follow the same guidelines?
We’ve had a Surveyors Valuation done and an Estate Agents Valuation which have both come back at the same price, we were going to sell to a quick sale company but I think we are being lied to, at first we were told by them that all Surveyors Valuations would be the same as they had to follow the same guidelines, now when its getting close to us signing their forms they are telling us that not all Surveyors value at the same price and they might get a lower value (the figure they mentioned was £3000 lower than ours), so I suppose the queston I’m asking is; Are we just about to be robbed if we sign with this company?
(ps, we were willing to accept their 15% discounted offer but think they are trying to get more discount out of us by under cutting us in a valuation.)

What is the best way to prevent ticks on my dog?

This is my first season living in a tick infested area. I already use Frontline Plus on my dogs every month. In fact, I just put it on them two weeks ago and found a tick on my dog this morning. Other dog owners in my neighborhood have the same problem. One of my dogs is short-haired so its pretty easy to check her, but my other is a Golden Retriever so even if I check him carefully I’m afraid I’ll miss one.

Lost and I am not sure what my next step should be?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 4 years we have a daughter together and i love him, but i am really tired of his ways
we never seem to be on the same page anymore, i can’t stand his family, my family can’t stand him, of course they really don’t know him or try to,but that’s not the reason why i feel the way i do, I feel like i am the only one in the relationship, and when i ask him to do anything he acts like he does everything when in all realty all he does is go to work and watch the kids, he lies about paying bills, he caters to his family, And when i try to talk to him he just turns everything i say into something else.
I do love him, That’s the only reason i have stayed this long. he does have some good things about him, and that’s why i’m not sure on what to do, i don’t want to dump him, but there’s apart of me that wants something better. So does any one have any advise.

Should I trade in my car or refinance?

Ok background
My credit score ranges between 580-605 between the 3 credit companies.
I have a 2005 Ford Escape. I currently owe $18,000
This car was co-signed with by another person. I now need to get their name off of it. So I have two choices: I can refinance it or I can trade it in for a new/used car. I can’t private sale it because I owe more than it’s worth.
I have been leaning towards trading it in because I now do a lot of driving each day. I would like to purchase a Mazda3 and the extra gas mileage would save me about $200 a month at the minimum.

What is my best option? If I buy used I would like to go thru carmax because I like the idea of no hassle and the guarentees they offer. I would also have to finance thru a dealer because I do not know of any banks or credit unions that do upside down car loans.

Sorry for the spill! Please HELP! I’m trying to make a good long term decision…should I trade it in use the saved gas money for extra payments or what? THANKS!
